For years I worked in a joke shop back home. I would love to decorate the window and Halloween was my favourite. So when it came to Halloween at home I often took it to the next level

When I first lived in Dublin I only had my bedroom window to decorate. I lived on the ground floor so I took full advantage.

I took my inspiration from the famous floating candles in Harry Potter. After collecting toilet roll and kitchen roll inserts for weeks I side my glue gun to created a fake drip wax affect on them. Once they where all dried I painted them white. I took some transparent tread I use for jewellery I made a cross about 2cm from the top that a battery tealight could rest on. I then hung them at different lengths at the window. I then went a bit crazy with the webs. So much fun.
