If you remember a few weeks ago I did a cute garland with pom poms and tassels. Well this is where I got the inspiration for this not so spooky Halloween Garland.
What you will Need
- Wool (Orange, Black and White)
- Pom Pom Makers
- Cardboard
- Scissors
- Pipe cleaners
- Googly eyes
- Twine
Method
First of all I took the orange wool with the intention of making a Pumpkin pom To make the Pom Poms, go to this link to find out how to make a perfect Pom Pom.
Once I had the Pom made I wanted to add a bit of a green steam. I took a small piece of pipe cleaner and using the 2 loose strands of the pom I tied it into place. Then I twisted the pipe cleaner around itself
Then I added to sticky googly eyes to the pom and he is ready to hang
Next I took the black wool and this time I wanted to make a pom Spider. Again to make the Pom Poms, go to this link to find out how to make a perfect Pom Pom.
I took a purple pipe cleaner and split it in 4 for the spider legs. Taking the 2 loose threads from the pom and tie the legs to the pom, using a double knot. Then I turned the pom over the tie the two loose ends at the top of the pom for tying to the garland.
To finish the spider off i bent down the legs and added some googly eyes.

Once you have the Tassel, all you have to do is add the Googly eyes. Simple!
Now its time to hang them. I cut some twine about a meter long. taking the poms and tassels I devised them along the length. I them hung it on my mantle piece. Spooky Cute isn’t it
